How EvoGoBox Works

Shop online, ship your packages to your EvoGoBox Fort Lauderdale address, upload your invoice, and let EvoGoBox help you estimate, consolidate, and ship your items to Barbados.

Our process is designed to give you a clearer view of your shipment before it reaches Barbados, including freight, duty, VAT, handling, and any customs-related fees that may apply. Consolidated shipments depart biweekly, every second Tuesday, with an invoice cutoff on the Friday at 5:00 PM before departure.

The Process

The EvoGoBox Shipping Process

EvoGoBox helps customers manage the shipping process from online purchases to final arrival in Barbados. Follow the steps below to help avoid delays and receive the most accurate estimate possible.

  1. 01

    Create Your Customer Account

Sign up for your EvoGoBox customer account. Once registered, you will receive your customer reference number and your EvoGoBox Fort Lauderdale shipping address. Address every package using your customer name, the word EvoGoBox, and your customer ID/reference — for example: Jane Doe / EvoGoBox / EGB-1234.

  2. 02

    Shop Online

Shop from your preferred online stores and enter your EvoGoBox Fort Lauderdale shipping address at checkout. Always include your customer reference number so your package can be identified correctly when it arrives.

  3. 03

    Upload Your Invoice

After placing your order, upload your invoice or order confirmation through the customer portal. This helps EvoGoBox review the declared value, item description, shipment category, and customs information before shipment.

  4. 04

    Enter Your Total Shipment Weight

Enter one total shipment weight for your consolidated shipment. You do not select a shipment type or box size — EvoGoBox applies the correct freight band automatically from your total weight.

  5. 05

    Add Your Item Categories

Select up to three item categories so duty can be estimated for your shipment. Separate category weights are not required; customs retains final authority over classification.

  6. 06

    Receive Your Estimate

After submitting your estimate request, EvoGoBox will review the information and email you an estimated landed cost. Your estimate may include freight, handling, duty, VAT, customs entry fees, broker fees where applicable, and your final estimated total.

  7. 07

    Shipment Review & Customs Processing

Once your shipment is reviewed, EvoGoBox will prepare the shipment for export and customs clearance. Final customs charges may vary based on invoice review, package inspection, customs classification, and any applicable Barbados import requirements.

  8. 08

    Track Your Shipment

Customers can track shipment status updates through the customer portal. Updates are triggered by EvoGoBox as your package moves through receiving, review, shipment, customs processing, and final pickup or delivery.

Estimate Calculator

How Your Estimate Is Calculated

The EvoGoBox Estimate Calculator is designed to give you a clearer view of your expected landed cost before your shipment is finalized. It uses your total shipment weight, declared value and selected item categories to estimate the main charges involved in shipping to Barbados, shown in BBD.

Your estimate may include:
  • Freight Charges
  • Handling Fees
  • Estimated Duty
  • Estimated VAT
  • Customs entry or broker fees, where applicable
  • Final estimate landed total

This estimate is not a final customs bill. Final charges may vary after invoice review, package inspection, customs classification, and official assessment by Barbados Customs.

Good to Know

Important Shipping Details

Before your shipment is finalized, EvoGoBox reviews your item categories, documents, customs requirements, and shipment status so customers have a clearer understanding of the full process.

Consolidated Shipments

If you are shipping multiple items together, EvoGoBox allows you to estimate a consolidated shipment using up to three item categories.

Categories are used for duty estimation only. You provide one total shipment weight and your declared value — separate category weights are not required.

Customs, Duty, VAT & Broker Fees

Most shipments entering Barbados may be subject to customs duties, VAT, and other fees depending on the item type, declared value, and customs classification.

Shipments with a declared value over BBD $2,000 may require a formal ASYCUDA customs entry. The final customer-facing ASYCUDA fee is BBD $350.00. Barbados Customs has final authority on classification, duty, VAT, and applicable import charges.
